It's as if last night's loss to the Sox wasn't demoralizing enough. Now the Yanks get roughed up on the back page and the front page of the Post. It's almost as if I can hear someone in Fenway yelling, "Jeetah's a Queeeeh," right now. [Gawker]


Jerry Crasnick says that the ratio of jeers to cheers was 80-20; with my own ears, I would have said 90-10, but that "idiot" still doffed his helmet to the crowd. (By the way Damon proceeded to have an o-fer-three.) Also, the citizens of Boston tax dollars gave Tim Wakefield's personal knuckleball catcher a ride from Logan to Fenway in record time (6:48 to 7:10). Nice timing. [ESPN]
